Stakeholder forum provides platform for engagement

The online Stakeholder Forum titled ‘Caught in the Middle: Identifying Gaps for Adolescents and Young Adults with Cancer‘ took place on 27 September. As part of the STRONG-AYA project, the online event provided a space for relevant stakeholders to engage with the project and the advancement of cancer care for adolescents and young adults (AYA) and policies overall.

Three breakout sessions offered participants a chance to focus on different aspects of the project’s activities. Time was also given to exploring how STRONG-AYA can productively connect with other major projects focused on AYA cancer care at the European level.
Representatives from four relevant projects joined a panel discussion, including the European Network for Teenagers and Young Adults with Cancer (ENTYAC), Joint Action on Networks of Expertise (JANE), EU Network of Youth Cancer Survivors (EU-CAYAS-NET), and Joint Action Towards the European Health Data Space (TEHDAS).
